My Story

I grew up in Santa Clarita, California, and began my dance journey at the age of 8. My sister was my first teacher, and she instilled in me a deep love for movement, teaching me everything I know. Throughout junior high, I trained in advanced dance and explored a variety of styles, including contemporary, jazz, and hip hop.

However, just before entering high school, I faced a life-changing setback. I had to undergo a major surgery that required me to take a break from dancing for two years. Despite this challenge, I remained determined to continue pursuing my passion. Even with a fixator on my arm, I created a hip hop team at my high school and performed for two years with one arm. During this time, I also continued my dance training and served as the captain of the hip hop team for all four years of high school.

Once the fixator was removed, I trained at Millennium Dance Complex and IDA, further honing my skills. After graduating, I had the opportunity to teach dance at my high school, a role I held for several years. Eventually, I began teaching at local studios, including Star Dance and Inspirations, where I gained valuable experience working with young dancers.

With a desire to share my passion for movement with a broader audience, I expanded my teaching to include adults in Los Angeles. I’ve been teaching ever since, and it has been incredibly rewarding to help students of all ages find their confidence and joy through dance.
